Junior Researchers Are Available Starting At $50/hr.

Could your team use some junior-level researchers to whom they can delegate basic tasks? If so, we’d love to help connect you with eager, qualified, entry-level researchers.

The Junior Researcher Program is part of our Rent-a-Researcher (RAR) temporary staffing service. Our clients often have entry-level research projects that may be a little junior for our regular RAR consultants, many of whom are senior-level researchers with billing rates in the $140-180/hour range. In contrast, Juniors are available from $50 to $80/hr.

The Junior Researcher Program is for entry-level market researchers who may be stuck in that vicious circle of, “how do I get work experience when I need work experience to get work experience?” The program is designed so entry-level researchers can gain that initial experience while bringing our staffing clients access to screened, enthusiastic, cost-effective temporary help. They need “real-world” work experience. You need cost-effective help for low-end tasks. Let’s put you together and have everyone benefit!

Since launching this program, clients have used our Junior Researchers for various tasks, including these:

  • Coding open-ended responses from surveys
  • Coding qualitative research transcripts
  • Conducting desk research (secondary research)
  • Creating charts & graphs from survey data
  • Note-taking (such as from qualitative research recordings)
  • Questionnaire programming (for those with experience using Alchemer, Qualtrics, etc., though we do not recommend Juniors for questionnaires with complex skipping or piping logic)
  • Screening & scheduling research participants

How do I know their work will be good?

All Junior Researchers have passed a multi-step application and screening process, which also required them to pass our Market Research 101 course.

Are there still risks? Of course. As a Junior, they will require more supervision. We recommend that clients who choose to work with Junior researchers have weekly status calls, during which the client should ask to see examples of work in progress such that any redirection can be done in real-time. You will find the Juniors to be open and eager for feedback.

How do I learn more about available Junior Researchers?
