Small Data

Small data are data sets that are small enough in size such that they are easily analyzed with traditional tools like MS Excel.

Example: Data from a survey of 2,000 consumers.

Example: Reporting how awareness has changed for a major retail company over time.

Small data is useful for many business reporting, basic analysis, and market intelligence needs. It is quick and efficient to use without investing in advanced tools or skillsets.
