Frequently Asked Questions
If I earn one of these certificates, do I have to periodically take a test or more courses?
No. The Insights Association does not require ongoing course credits nor re-testing (you earn it, you keep it).
How much do the courses cost?
The courses required for each IPC certification are available through our IPC bundles, one per specialty. For example, if you want to earn the IPC Quantitative Certificate, simply choose that bundle. You will have 12-month access to the courses in your selected bundle(s) and may progress as quickly (or leisurely) as you wish. Each bundle is available at $825 per student. Team discounts are available for teams of 5 or more.
Can I complete these courses on-demand?
Yes. You can successfully complete all of our eLearning courses using our 24/7 Training Portal. In addition to pre-recorded video lessons, all classes also require assignments and quizzes. Student time on assignments varies but generally ranges from one to four hours per course.
Will I meet the instructor and other students?
Yes, if you choose to attend the real-time Live Events. Our instructors deliver 50+ Live Events in our virtual classroom per year. Once you register, you will start receiving periodic invitations to join upcoming Live Events on different topics, during which the instructor conducts demonstrations, facilitates practice exercises and answers student questions. Many students tell us that meeting their fellow Research Rockstars in Live Events is of huge value to them for learning and networking.
Are there tests?
Yes, to complete each course, there is an online assessment of typically 10 to 15 questions. This helps us ensure that the curriculum supports out students in acheiving the IPC learning objectives. If the student does not pass, they get a second chance, and they will need to retake the course if they do not pass at the second attempt.
Do I get a Certificate?
Yes! Upon completing the requirements, you will receive a PDF Certificate and a social badge suitable for use on LinkedIn.
