Likert Scale

A Likert scale is a popular rating scale for measuring attitudes, often using a 5-point scale. For example, a 5-point satisfaction scale, ranging from “Strongly Dissatisfied” to ‘Strongly Satisfied.” Named for its creator, psychologist Rensis Likert. Trivia: most people mispronounce Likert. It is pronounced “Lick”-ert, not “Like”-ert. See also this video.
