Hierarchical Marketing Models

A common need in market research is to measure brand awareness and perception trends. These studies sometimes use a marketing model as an analysis framework. Examples include:

  • AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire)
  • AIETA model (Awareness, Interest, Evaluation, Trial, Adoption)
  • Lavidge-Steiner model (Awareness, Knowledge, Liking, Preference, Conviction, Purchase)
